3BL Media – The Tulsa Holiday Marketplace Experience will be held tonight, November 15 at 6:00 p.m. at Notion Coffee 321 S Frankfurt Avenue, Tulsa, OK.
Shoppers will enjoy meeting and connecting with local entrepreneurs and other luminaries while channeling their dollars directly to aspiring entrepreneurs and small business founders this holiday season via the nonprofit’s 2nd Annual Local Showcase. Founders will also be honored with contributions in their own short feature videos, and several local business owners will receive $5000 in grants in recognition of their contributions to the corporate landscape in 2022.
Participating entrepreneurs are:
Marquita Owens, owner of The BluPrint Studio in the heart of Black Wall Street. The Craftsy Studio is your starting point to change the path before you. It’s a place where anyone can come and have a great workout, improve their overall fitness performance, and make a change in the process.
Jo Sesay, Founder of Black Roots, a wellness company dedicated to holistic care. Drawing on her upbringing, heritage and training, Jo saw the need to assess the whole person and not just a symptom and offers herbal dispensary, teas and counseling services based on a core belief system rooted in Black Ancestral wisdom is.
Janae Hickman, founder of JanaeJavan, a company specializing in home textiles and pharmacy products that use high quality Italian linens and natural ingredients. All products are handmade and tested on humans only.

More local Tulsa entrepreneurs are also featured in an online marketplace hosted by Sky’s the Limit. Consisting of 100% creator-led brands traditionally excluded from avenues of business advancement, the curated collection of 100+ shops includes founders who identify as women, LGBTQI+, BIPOC, disabled and low-income people.
Business areas of the online marketplace are:
product-based companies including street fashion, vegan beauty and sustainable homeware
Professional service company including social media marketing, financial education and HR support
Nonprofit Businesses serving areas such as youth development, health and wellness and supporting people who are without shelter or shelter
