Iggy Azalea sells eight figure masters and releases | entertainment

Iggy Azalea has sold her entire master recording and publishing catalog to Domain Capital for an impressive eight figure sum.

The mega deal includes the rap star’s biggest hits: “Fancy”, “Black Widow” and “Problem”.

As Billboard reports, the 32-year-old will benefit from a “trigger” for future earnings at Masters.

The music star is also now the sole owner of her Bad Dreams label and is about to land a new distribution deal.

Iggy says she “doesn’t need to work another day in my life.”

She tweeted: “I sold part of my catalog to whoever I wanted for a price that means I don’t have to work another day of my life. (sic)”

Anthony Tittanegro, Executive Managing Director of Domain Capital Group, commented, “We are delighted to launch our first diversified private entertainment royalty fund.

“At a time of continued growth in the entertainment industry, supported by an ever-evolving landscape of distribution channels, we are focused on building a diversified asset base to generate cash returns and preserve our investors’ capital.”

Iggy recently admitted that she is in an “amazing place” in her life.

She explained how she’s managed to “rebuild” her confidence, and she’s “smiling bigger now than ever.”

Iggy’s confession was prompted by a free post from a Twitter follower, which read: “Iggy I’ve been following you since 2014 and I can tell you seem a lot happier. I saw your smile at the show yesterday and I was like, She knows she won. Have a nice day mom! [heart emoji] (sic)”

In response, Iggy said, “Thanks! I’m in an amazing place…

“It takes time to rebuild your confidence

“But I’m smiling bigger now than ever [celebratory emoji] (sic)”

Iggy then jokingly added: “I would be a lot happier right now if I had a pizza that was my personal size in my hands. (sic)”

In contrast, Iggy previously admitted to feeling “completely bereft of her private life” in her early years in the music business.

The Aussie star, who has Onyx, two, with ex-boyfriend Playboi Carti, wrote on the microblogging platform: “Here’s the thing I think anyone working hard on a dream should know.

“On the way to your goal, there will be moments when you feel insane, totally deprived of privacy and like everything is falling apart.

“When you reach your goal… you’ll still have those moments.

“It’s normal. (sic)”

Iggy announced in 2021 that she was taking a break from music for “a few years” to focus on “other creative projects.”

However, the rapper later confirmed her return to the music scene via a Twitter post.

Iggy wrote online: “A year ago I was ready to quit music because I was tired of the negative energy it attracted.

“But what I’ve learned is that even when I’m minding my own business, you’re all negative AND curious.

“So if I can’t have peace, neither can you.

“I’ll be back. Cry about it. (sic)”
