Library News: Week of November 6, 2022 – The Globe

WORTHINGTON – The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open Monday through Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Both libraries will be closed on Friday November 11th and Saturday November 12th due to Veterans Day.

Friends of the Library Book Club: The next meeting is on November 28th at 6pm to discuss “The Joy Luck Club” by Amy Tan. All are welcome!

Turkey Bingo: 15 November, 6-8 p.m., at the Worthington Library. Mark your calendars and attend this free event with great prizes up for grabs from local businesses.

After school programming at Nobles County Library in Worthington begins this week. Please stop by the library or call (507) 295-5340 to register your children. Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from the library.

8 November: After-School Program (grades K-5), until 4:45 p.m

9 November: Story Time (toddlers and preschoolers), 10am to 11am; Just Gurlz (Girls Grades 5-9), after school until 4:45 p.m

November 10: After-School Program (grades K-5), until 4:45 p.m

Nov 14: Wii (Grades 5-9), until 4:45 p.m

Nov 15: After School Program (grades K-5), until 4:45 p.m

Fun fact: The most circulated periodical in the Worthington library is People.
