Nigerian creative solutions company, Livespot360 will be curating a one-of-a-kind experience for 8 days this December that will bring the world to Lagos, Nigeria, a burgeoning epicenter for world-class entertainment.
It states that African music and culture is impacting the global entertainment industry in unprecedented ways – from Afrobeats to Afropop, Amapiano and film, we have cemented our place as a force for creativity and outstanding talent.
Key to this development is continued investment in the growth and expansion of the industry to ensure greater global impact.
That’s why Livespot360 will bring together key stakeholders from the global entertainment industry as we introduce Entertainment Week Lagos and continue our commitment to celebrate and amplify urban pop culture with the 3rd edition of Livespot X Festival at Livespot Entertarium.
According to Livespot360 founder Deola Art Alade, “The goal was to stimulate investment and interest in the African entertainment industry and has inspired our journey and the platforms we have created along the way. This year we are going one step further with Entertainment Week Lagos.
“There is still so much to do, but we look forward to the conversations and actions these platforms will inspire as we host the world in our beloved Lagos.”
Entertainment Week Lagos is a revolutionary platform that will bring together key global industry stakeholders to collaborate, network, brainstorm, showcase and share knowledge and resources in the city of Lagos. In addition, the African entertainment industry can drive sustainable socio-economic development for the continent.
Therefore, through Entertainment Week Lagos, we intend to harvest and use this energy to create a catalyst for real, lasting change within the entertainment sector and beyond.
From December 11th to 18th, Entertainment Week Lagos will host a range of activities: workshops, panels with global industry leaders, exhibitions, film hubs, tech immersive spaces and a superb music weekend with Livespot X Festival.
Livespot X Festival, taking place from 16th to 18th December 2022, will present a range of headlines. As such, Day 1 of the festival will be a memorial concert celebrating ten years of Mavin. Headlining will include Mavin All-Stars, who will perform hits from the group’s extensive music catalogue.
Livespot360 is behind some of Nigeria’s most significant and well-known entertainment events such as Livespot X Festival with Cardi B, Love Like A Movie with Kelly Rowland, Ciara and Kim Kardashian and BAFEST to name a few.
